Sometimes. Honey is shared only when harvest allows and varies year to year. Bee health always comes first, and some seasons yield little or none at all.
Where are the hives located?
Our hives are kept in the Bay Area and surrounding regions, placed thoughtfully based on forage, safety, and seasonal conditions.
Can I visit my adopted hive?
At this time, hive visits are not included with sponsorships. This helps us protect both the bees and our working apiary schedule.
Is this a one-time or recurring commitment?
Hive adoption is offered as a one-year sponsorship. Renewal opportunities may be offered depending on availability.
Is this tax deductible?
Hive adoption is not a charitable donation and is not tax deductible.
