Shipping

We ship most of our products to addresses within the Continental United States.

Standard shipping rates are based on your order total:

  • Orders under $40: $10
  • Orders $40 to $79.99: $15
  • Orders $80 to $124.99: $20

Orders of $125 or more receive FREE standard shipping within the Continental United States.

At this time, orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other locations outside the Continental U.S. may require additional shipping charges. Please contact us before ordering for assistance.

Honey Ships Within California Only

California's rules for cottage foods allow us to ship our honey within the state only, so honey and honeycomb ship to California addresses only. Free local pickup in Fremont and free local delivery in 94536 are also available. Our beeswax goods, candles, body care and other non-food products can still ship anywhere in the Continental United States.

Local Pickup or Delivery Only

A few items are not available for shipping at all and can only be picked up in Fremont or delivered within ZIP code 94536:

  • Gathered Goods, our pre-loved, one-of-a-kind finds
  • The 3-Month Honey Share

Bee-Inspired Goods

Our bee-inspired goods, such as notebooks, tote bags, wall clocks and garden flags, are made to order and ship directly from our production partners. They have their own shipping rates, shown at checkout as "Bee-Inspired Goods Shipping," and are not included in our flat-rate or free-shipping, delivery or pickup offers. Most arrive within 4–10 business days.

If your order includes both Beeholden Farms products and bee-inspired goods, you'll see a separate shipping charge for each, and they may arrive in separate packages.

Digital Products

E-books, guides, planners and printables are delivered instantly by email and download link. Nothing ships.

Free Local Pickup in Fremont, CA

We are happy to offer FREE porch pickup in Fremont, California 94536. There is no minimum purchase required for local pickup.

Local pickup orders must be prepaid. Once your order is ready, you will receive an email or text with pickup instructions and the pickup location. Please wait until you receive your "Ready for Pickup" notification before arriving.

Orders are available for pickup for 3 days after they're marked ready. Orders not picked up within 3 days will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee.

Free Local Delivery in ZIP Code 94536

We offer FREE local delivery on orders of $35 or more to addresses located within ZIP code 94536.

Local delivery is available for our own Beeholden Farms products, the items we harvest and make by hand here in Fremont, plus our Gathered Goods, including:

  • Raw honey and honeycomb
  • Soy candles
  • Lip balms, cuticle balms and salves
  • Board conditioner and other handcrafted body-care and home-care products
  • Gathered Goods

Our bee-inspired goods are made to order and shipped directly by our production partners, so they aren't eligible for local delivery. If your cart includes any of these items, local delivery won't appear as an option at checkout. To get free local delivery, simply place a separate order for your honey and handcrafted items.

Local delivery availability is based on our delivery schedule. Once your order is delivered, you will be notified by email.

When Will My Order Ship?

Beeholden Farms products are made, packed, and prepared in small batches. Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders are generally processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

You will receive a notification when your order has shipped or is ready for pickup or local delivery. During holidays, product launches, or especially busy seasons, processing times may be slightly longer.

Returns

Because many of our products are food, personal-care, and small-batch handcrafted items, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Honey and other food products
  • Soy candles
  • Lip balms
  • Cuticle balms and salves
  • Body or skincare products
  • Other opened or used personal-care products

Made-to-order bee-inspired goods, digital products and Gathered Goods also can't be returned. See our Refund Policy for the details on each.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing an item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right. We may ask for photographs of damaged products and/or packaging so we can resolve the issue.
