BEEHOLDEN FARMS: ADDITIONAL TERMS
Honey & Food Product Safety
Our honey is a raw, minimally processed, natural agricultural product harvested in small batches in Fremont, California.
Do not feed honey to infants under 12 months of age. Our honey and hive products may contain naturally occurring pollen, beeswax, propolis, or other bee-related components. If you have allergies or sensitivities to bee products or pollen, please consult your healthcare provider before use. Our body-care products (such as lip balms, cuticle balms, and salves) are for external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Natural Variation
Because our honey comes from our own hives and reflects what's blooming each season, color, flavor, aroma, texture, and crystallization will vary from batch to batch. Product photos are representative only. Natural variation and crystallization are not defects and are not grounds for a return or refund.
Swarm Removal, Hive Hosting & Pollination Services
Services are scheduled based on availability, weather, and the condition of the bees. We may reschedule when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
You confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission for us to access it and perform the service.
Working with live honey bees carries inherent risk, including stings. You agree to keep children, pets, and bystanders at a safe distance while services are performed.
Bees are living animals, and their behavior cannot be guaranteed. We do not guarantee that a swarm will stay relocated, that a hosted colony will thrive, or that a set crop yield or level of pollination will result.
Swarm removal is for honey bees only. We do not remove wasps, hornets, or yellow jackets, and we do not do structural work unless we have agreed to it in writing. Hive hosting arrangements may be subject to a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.
Hive Sponsorships, Adoptions & Subscriptions
Sponsorships and hive stewardship programs are support programs. They do not give ownership of any hive, bees, equipment, or honey.
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the frequency shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your customer account / by contacting us at beeholdenfarms@gmail.com . Cancellation stops future charges. Amounts already billed are non-refundable unless required by law.
Honey bee colonies can decline, swarm, abscond, or be lost to natural causes. If a sponsored hive is lost, we may assign your sponsorship to another Beeholden Farms hive. Hive updates, photos, and any included gifts are provided as described in each program and may vary by season.
Local Pickup & Delivery
Local pickup and local delivery are available only as described on our Shipping & Returns page.
Pickup orders not collected within 3 days of your "Ready for Pickup" notification may be cancelled and refunded, minus a 20% restocking fee.
Once an order has been delivered to the address provided, or picked up, you are responsible for it. Honey and balms can be affected by heat, so please bring deliveries inside promptly.
Pricing, Availability & Order Acceptance
Because our products are made in small batches, quantities are limited. We reserve the right to limit quantities, to refuse or cancel any order, and to correct errors in pricing, descriptions, or availability, even after an order has been placed. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
