Candle Wick Trimmer

Give your candles a cleaner, more even burn with one quick step before lighting. This wick trimmer has a long handle and an angled head that reaches straight down into a candle jar, so you can trim neatly without wrestling a pair of scissors into the glass.

Trimming your wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn helps cut down on soot and smoke, keeps the flame from getting too large, and gives you a steadier, cleaner burn. That's how you get the most out of every candle. The curved cutting head also catches the trimmed piece so you can lift it out instead of leaving it to fall into the wax.

How to Use

Let the candle and wax cool completely. Place the cutting head around the wick about 1/4 inch above the wax, then gently close the handles to trim. Lift out the clipped wick before lighting. For the best burn, trim before every use.

Safety

• Never trim a lit candle. Extinguish the flame and let the wick and wax cool first.
• Blades are sharp. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Don't drop wick trimmings back into the candle; debris in the wax can catch and cause flare-ups.
• Wipe the blades clean after use and store in a dry place.
