Julia E. Dean Leaf-Print Pottery Mug, Blue Rim (Pre-Loved)

Gathered Goods: pre-loved and handmade.

This wheel-thrown stoneware mug was handmade by potter Julia E. Dean. Real leaves are pressed into the unglazed, speckled clay body, leaving detailed vein prints all the way around and even across the bottom. A glossy deep-blue glaze lines the inside and wraps the rim and handle. The round, belly shape sits comfortably in two hands for morning coffee or tea. The bottom is stamped with the maker's name.

We found these secondhand and gathered them for someone who'll love them. Two are available and sold individually. Each one is handmade, so the leaf patterns vary very slightly from mug to mug. Once they're gone, they're gone.
