A Little Taste of the Bay Area, Straight From Our Hives 🐝

Our raw, unfiltered honey begins right here at Beeholden Farms in Fremont, California, where our bees spend their days exploring neighborhood gardens, flowering trees, herbs, wildflowers and whatever else happens to be blooming around the Bay Area.

Available in four sizes: a 13 oz jar for everyday use, a 1 lb squeeze bottle for easy, no-drip drizzling, a 24 oz jar for honey-in-everything households, and a generous 32 oz jar for serious honey lovers, bakers and tea drinkers. Our 32 oz honey comes in a classic queenline glass jar, the traditional beekeeper's honey jar, and our 1 lb size comes in a queenline-style BPA-free plastic squeeze bottle.

Every jar is harvested from our own hives in small batches and handled as little as possible before it reaches you.

We gently strain our honey to remove larger pieces of wax and hive debris, but we don’t ultra-filter it or heavily process it just to make every jar look exactly the same.

The bees make it. We simply put it in the jar.

And because our bees decide where they’ll forage, every harvest tells a slightly different story. One batch may be lighter and delicate. Another may be deeper in color or have a more pronounced floral character. Those natural variations are one of our favorite things about keeping bees.

Why You’ll Love It

  • 100% raw, unfiltered honey
  • Harvested from our hives in Fremont, California
  • Small-batch and seasonally harvested
  • Lightly strained, never ultra-filtered
  • Nothing added...just honey
  • Naturally varying flavor, aroma and color
  • Beautiful drizzled over warm sourdough, biscuits or yogurt, stirred into tea, paired with cheese, or enjoyed straight from the spoon

Every Jar Is a Little Different

Our honey isn’t made in a factory, and we don’t want it to look like it was.

The flowers available to our bees change throughout the year, which means the color, flavor and aroma of our honey can change from one harvest to the next.

Your honey may also naturally crystallize and become cloudy, thick or even solid over time. That’s completely normal. If you prefer it liquid, simply place the closed jar in warm water and allow it to gently warm.

From Our Hives to Your Home

Beeholden Farms started with a love for bees, gardening and the little ecosystem happening right outside our door. Producing honey wasn’t about creating something perfectly uniform...it was about sharing something our bees created right here in our corner of the Bay Area.

When you purchase a jar, you’re supporting our hives, our bees and the work we put into caring for them throughout the year.
